SCUBA Diving Question in Florida (Key Largo, Miami, so on)?

What are some good places to dive in either location? I don't have my license renewed yet, on the way down we will, my uncle is a diving instructor in South Carolina. Anyone have any good places? Clear water is preferred, but if not ok. :) Thank you.

We already know about the snorkeling and scuba diving but what else is there to do?
(oh and recommended snorkeling areas is appreciated)
I wanna do something fun. Im very adventurous, and outgoing. Im up to almost anything.
So if you have any fun ideas to do in the keys please help. And if you know where a good place to do that activity please add that in.

Has oil reached the Florida Keys?

I have a SCUBA trip to the Florida Keys in July, and I'm wondering if it's still safe to SCUBA there because of the oil slick. We'll be diving in the Keys themselves, so if there is oil we cant dive.

So does anyone know if oil has/or will reach the keys within July?

Scuba diving and flying?

I am a scuba diver and single engine pilot. I would like to rent a Cessna 172, fly to the florida keys, do 2 shallow dives (30-50ft) and fly back (basically right after diving), What is the maximum height I can fly at? I will be flying VFR and could fly as low as 1,500 MSL all the way back...Thanks!

wetsuit w/front or back zipper?

I need to order a wetsuit to go scuba diving in the Florida Keys and although I like the look of the wetsuits with front zippers more my dad said something about back zippers being better (however, he has never been scuba diving in his life). The water should be about 75 degrees and I want to know if which side the zipper was on would make a huge difference.

Ok, So In August I'm Going to Florida With About 20 Other People :) We're Going To Busch Gardens :D. Me And My Family Always To Something Special ie: We Swam With Mannatees This Year,Discovery Cove 2007, Scuba Diving in the keys 2008. So We Like Animals Basically.

This Question Is About The Zoo Keeper For A Day At Busch Gardens. I Know This Includes Making Their Food etc. My Q's Are :
-Do We Get To Interact With The Animals?
-What Animals Are Involved?
- With The Training Orangutan Session. Do You Get To Like Pet Them?

My friend and I want to go someplace for a week in February, but we're not completley sure where we want to go. We're Guys. We have a reasonable budget, ie we can fly south to Caribbeans if necessary, or even California. We're interested in a safe, awesome time, so no "clubbing" or anything. Any ideas?? This is what we came up with so far:

Drive up to VT-NH for skiing

Fly South to Florida Keys for scuba diving. --- Is it too cold to swim comfortably?? Any experience?

Fly to Caribbean: Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Bahamas, Bermuda ---- we're clueless as far as this goes. any ideas?

Fly to California --- what should we do?

Anywhere else??

WILL A SHARK ATTACK ME IF I WEAR THIS?

Should i wear a Full black suit or Black and blue suit with flippers that are Blue with grey trimming, i like the blue and black stuff, but the problem im worried about is, that i will look camo, and look like the water, and i will look like a fish? but if im all black i would look like a wierd creature they havnt seen before, cuz im going to SCUBA DIVE in florida keys and cosemell, and stuff not the west coast in california where the great whites and seals are??? whats ur pick?? help? work with me?

I'm a 11B with the 82nd Airborne. I have a civilian certification as a Scuba Dive Master. (I lived in Florida in my youth) What units are eligible to go to US Army Combat Divers Course in Key West? What units have dive teams?

I plan to visit Key Largo Florida this summer to go scuba diving. I plan to fly there. Should I land in Key West or Miami which on is closer? Where do I need to stay in Key Largo. I am not rich so something simple but nice and close to some good diving. Any suggestions? I also need to rent a car. I have only rented a car one time. Any ideas on that?
