Not directly from Key Largo as far as I know, but there are boat trips out to the John Pennekamp SP reefs. I think they're a bit deeper though, 30-40', which is not for the inexperienced. (I've only done snuba there, which was great.)

The best places for snorkelling and freediving are off Bahia Honda SP, Big Pine Key, and Looe Key. I haven't done the latter, but it's meant to be the best.

Have fun -- freediving is far better than scuba!

Key Largo, It has warm water and is a small place..... It has beautiful reefs. It has a great town! horizon divers, it is a charter boat for scuba, but you can free dive too.
